You see your new home page before you pay anything, and you know the price before we build the rest.
We start with the business, not the website.
Who your customers are, how they find you, what they ask before they buy, and what you are sick of doing by hand. If you have a site already, send us the address. That is all we need to start.
Your new home page, on a private link.
We design your home page from what you told us and send you a private link. Open it on your phone and show it to whoever you like. Like it, and we go on. If it is not for you, there is nothing to pay.
A fixed quote, then the rest of the site.
You get a fixed quote in writing, with the revision rounds included. A deposit of 50% of the quote books your start date, at any size of job. Payment plans for business clients on jobs from NZ$1,000. The other 50% is paid when the work is delivered, or on a payment plan, in 3 monthly payments set out in your agreement. Then we build the rest and test it the way a customer would use it, so an enquiry sent from the form lands in your inbox. If it is a store, we place a real order before anyone else can.
Launch day is the start, not the finish.
We connect your analytics and search tools and put the site live on your own domain. After that a care plan keeps it hosted, updated, backed up and watched every month, with small changes included. Without a care plan, changes are charged by the hour, with the time agreed first. A Shopify store is different: you add products and change prices yourself, and we show you how.

Nick Lakin has spent more than 15 years in tech. He founded Tea Break Studio and runs it from Beachlands, Auckland. He designs and builds websites, online stores and apps, and works across design, code, 3D and AI, so a job is never passed from one agency to the next. Every build gets a fixed quote in writing before it starts, with the revision rounds spelled out.
Everything in your name
Your domain, hosting, Google profile and ad accounts are set up in your name, and ad budgets go on your own card. We get access, never ownership.
Tested and tracked
Forms are tested to a real inbox and pages on real phones before launch. A Starter site and a Business site come with tracking, so you can see who gets in touch.
