About the money

How paying for it works.

The questions people ask before they sign a quote. Anything else, just ask. We answer in writing.

Yes. A deposit of 50% of the quote books your start date, and nothing begins until it lands. The deposit comes off the final invoice. It is not on top.
In stages, so you are never paying for work you have not seen. Typically the balance is due before the site goes live; on larger builds we split it into a payment at design sign-off and the rest before launch. The stages are written on the quote, with dates, so there are no surprises.
Third-party costs you pay directly: your domain name, hosting, the store platform's own fee, payment processing fees, and any paid plugins or stock photos. We set them all up in your name and tell you what they cost before you commit. Hosting is not part of a care plan: you keep your existing hosting, or we host it for NZ$29 a month.
Every quote and invoice shows GST as its own line where it applies, so the number you see is the number you pay, with nothing hidden in the small print.
Not for the work on the quote. If you ask for something new part way through, we tell you what it costs before we do it, and you choose. The quote only changes when you sign off on a change to it.
Yes, any time, by email. Monthly plans stop at the end of the month you cancel in. Yearly plans run to the end of the year you have paid for, with unused full months refunded. There is no exit fee, and your site, your accounts and your backups stay yours.
